About Me

My name is Iliya Beshovishki. I am an Automotive Designer and I live in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Design is my life’s passion. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Sofia Technical University. Among my senior projects were concepts for a trimaran yacht and for a 2025 S-class Mercedes Benz.

In 2007 I was awarded first place in the AMG GmbH wheel contest by Professor Peter Pfeiffer himself.

Since then, I have been working on a variety of industrial, automobile, domestic, medical, and advertising projects. As an independent designer, my benefit has been twofold. On one hand, I have had the opportunity to hone my technical skills, as I was involved with all aspects of the design process, including concept development, computer modeling, as well as hand and industrial production. In addition, I have gained inviolable experience negotiating with clients, discussing ideas and projects, and delivering a final product. Some of my projects include medical negatoscopes, billboards, various pieces of furniture, as well as custom car reupholstery.

I have also participated in a variety of design competitions. Some of my concepts have been shown in a number of design biennales, car shows, and Sofia Technical University exhibitions. As a former member of the Brabus GmbH team, my models were also shown at IAA Frankfurt.

My dream is to be part of an innovative and creative design team in a world class automotive company. I am convinced that my education, experience as a junior designer, unique perspective, the ability to execute my visions in various physical and digital media, and most of all, my dedication, determination, and passion for what I do.
